Elements your Maid of Honor toast should include:

  • Express how happy you are to be at the wedding and thank the bride and groom for inviting everyone to be a part of their special day.
  • Share a personal touch such as a favorite memory, joke, or special secret that will be emotionally significant to everyone.
  • Describe how you and the bride met and how long you have known each other.
  • Share a funny story about growing up together.
  • Most “appropriate” embarrassing moment you shared with the bride.
  • Share a funny habit of the bride that the groom will have to live with.
  • Offer a spiritual statement (if the bride and groom are spiritual people).
  • Note how beautiful the bride and groom look together.
  • Offer loving words of advice to both the bride and groom. Wishes you have for the newlyweds such as happiness, success and lots of babies!
